Réthy Ferenc József was a stonemason who learned his craft in Graz, Austria and Germany. He worked as an apprentice in many hungarian cities.
His family's craft was stonemasonry as well. He moved from Győr to Moson and founded his company in 1904. He was a Mailing List Member of The Hungarian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, and the founder and vice-chairman of the Industry Syndicate. He was Township Leader for sixteen years.
In 2001 the family business became a limited partnership, and from 2008 it became a Kft. which is similar to the english Ltd. with some legal differences.
Today in our family the fourth generation is working with stonemasonry. We craft and repair custom monuments. We also specialize in making counters, ledges and steps.
